Easter Hunting

Hey there guys and gals.

Well, we're heading out for the Easter weekend, but I wanted to leave you with some eye-ball slapping goodness. These are a couple more shots from Hunter's session. Enjoy!

Peace Lily,

Aaron

Hype Hunter

We couldn't be more excited about introducing you to the Hype Team member we snagged from Cannon. Her name is Hunter. And she is the bomb diggity. No doubt.

As you can see, she did an awesome job. Letting Aaron and I boss her around and all... You were such a good sport, Hunter!

She is a great addition to the Hype Team for so many reasons. Not only is she amazing in front of the camera, but she's also pretty incredible behind it. She is both the photographer for the Concord Youth Council and her school's newspaper.

Hunter is an avid traveler and would one day like to become fluent in Spanish. She loves Toblerones and the Steve Miller Band.

Hunter once sang N*Sync karaoke on a cruise ship in Croatia. Obviously, She's our kind of girl. She fits right in along with Aaron's crazy antics and my extreme randomness. We had such a blast on her shoot. We've got big plans for Hunter here at the studio. Expect more even awesomer (Yes, that's a word!) pictures soon.

Isn't she beautiful, folks? She reminds me of a younger version of the lovely Jenny Lewis... Fun and unique. The perfect combination.

Hunter rocked our faces off. And she'll do the same to you if you're not careful!

If you would still like to become a part of the hippest team in town, it's not too late. As long as you're graduating in 2010, you're qualified. Just fill out this questionnaire and send it our way. We'll take care of the rest.

Facebook Winner

Good Golly Miss Molly, you've done it again! The winning image:

What a few voters had to say:
Amanda- "Awesome pic! My favorite!
Tristan- "Best of the best."
Elisa- "This is by far the best pic, it's so colorful and full of life."

For the second time, Molly's photo has impressed the voters. And once again, she'll be getting an iTunes gift card. As well as our random voter, Crystal Genes.

You could win one too. Just head on over to the LP Facebook Group and vote for your favorite image. We have two Mt. Pleasant Tigers going head-to-head right now. Trust me, you don't want to miss it.

2008 Roll Call

Just wanted to do a quick roll call for all the folks of 2008 that we weren't able to blog. Sorry for the delay. It's like I always say, better late than never, right?

Meet Michelle. She's a senior at West Stanly. Michelle is a huge UNC fan and a good friend of our WSHS Ambassador, Emily Talley.

Kyle, a fellow Colt, is a big fan of the Greenbay Packers and enjoys playing golf and hunting.

This is Jordan. She attends Stanly Community College. She's into hip-hop and ballroom dancing.

Justin is a senior at Weddington. In his free time, you can find him wakeboarding and snowboarding. Basically, anything with a board.

Lindsay is yet another senior at West Stanly. She works, goes to school, and loves the NC classic, Cherry Lemon Sundrop.

Logan attends Lancaster High. He's interested in video production and plays both tennis and basketball.

We had a blast with ALL of our 2008 Revolutionaries. We're really looking forward to the Senior season of 2009. Give us a call at 704.888.2881 to schedule your session today! We promise it'll be awesome. And you'll look awesome. Because you are awesome (We think).

Kody

As you can see, this is Kody. He's a senior at Mt. Pleasant and our first official revolutionary of '09.

His mom came to us wanting something different for his tux shots. Something the school photographer wasn't able to give her... pure awesomeness!

We saw Kody's potential as soon as he walked in the door, wearing a funky, multi-colored jacket. We couldn't resist. He was much too Rock & Roll for run-of-the-mill tux shots.

So, we did what we do here at LP and made him look awesome.

Keep your eyes open for Kody's Facebook debut. He and a fellow MPHS Tiger will be competing for an iTunes gift card in the LP Group.

We can make you look awesome too, you know. Senior season is coming up soon. Call and schedule your appointment today! 704.888.2881.

Brittany

Meet Brittany, the newest addition to the Revolution. She's a senior at Piedmont where she participates in a few clubs here and there and keeps the radio tuned to 96.1 at all times.

She's no stranger to the LP crew, having braved the cooler temperatures with us on two separate occasions. What a trooper.

Some of Brittany's pictures will be up for your vote on the LP Facebook Group shortly. Be sure to check it out for your chance to win an iTunes gift card by voting on your favorite image.

Molly

Molly goes to Sun Valley, where she tears it up on the soccer field. She also takes classes at CPCC. She moved here from Kansas three years ago and loves the Kansas Jayhawks. She wants to become an elementary school teacher and we think she'd be great at it. She has a particular interest in childhood obesity/health.

She loves being at school, which isn't something we hear all the time. On days she doesn't have class, she hangs out and helps her favorite teachers.

Did we mention she's freakishly into the Jayhawks? She even drives a Jayhawk blue car...

She'll be battling it out in the Facebook group in the coming weeks. Be sure to join so you can vote for your favorite images and win iTunes gift cards.

Give us a call to schedule your session: 704.888.2881.

2010 Ambassador Search

Attention class of 2010.

At little PHOTOGRAPHY, we don't see high school seniors entering our studio. We see explorers, artists, scholars, revolutionaries - incredible young men and women of an emerging generation that will change the world.

That's why you need revolutionary senior portraits, not lame tilt-your-head-and-smile school portraits.

Yet many of your peers will settle for generic senior pictures. We're here to put a stop to it. To revolutionize senior portraiture.

This is where you come in. Our official 2010 Ambassador search in underway.

Ambassadors lead the way. They represent LP in their schools. They spread the word. And we take good care of them in return.

If you're ready to join a team of extraordinary high school seniors from all across the Charlotte area on the front lines of the revolution, shoot us an email: info@littlephotography.net.

We'll give you the 411 and a link to the application.

In the mean time, REVOLT!

Chantal, one of our most recent revolutionaries, was born in California. She has lived in Italy, England, and Virginia before moving to NC.

She wants to be a teacher, though she's not sure of what yet. She also loves horses and can do awesome riding tricks.

The Smith Brothers

Axel came in for his senior session a couple of weeks ago; then he came back with his brother, Josh. Their mom wanted something different. Something beyond your typical studio session because that just wouldn't fit their personalities.

So we made it happen.

Not sure Josh expected to be climbing down into a creek surrounded by bamboo during their session.

Leave a comment below to let us know what you think of their pictures.

The Mystery Man Revealed: Axel Smith

That's right ladies and gentleman. Axel Smith, from West Stanly.

You may have seen him at the shop in Stanfield, just before the railroad tracks. Or possibly at Advanced Auto in Locust.

He's all about working on cars and has an awesome Honda Civic Si and VW bus.

His on-location session was probably the most eventful we've ever had. We were stalked by a stray cat for the first part of the session in Stanfield. We got to hear a dump truck mating call in downtown Concord. Someone asked us for a hot sandwich. We met Carl Weathers. It was amazing.

Guys, we know you're not into getting your picture taken; but give us a call. We'll make you look awesome.

There's a Storm a Brewin'

It's coming your way.

"What is it?" you ask.

"Who is it?"

Who indeed...

We can't tell you.

Yet.

But we can reveal a teaser image from his session. He's cleverly disguised to throw you off the scent:

You'll have to tune in Thursday to find out who this Mystery Man is.

Haley

Haley is a senior at West Stanly, interested in going into forensic nursing.

She likes parody movies but has never seen any Naked Gun or Monty Python movies. She's never even seen Dumb and Dumber...

We're thinking about having a movie night at the studio to make sure local high schoolers have a chance to enjoy these fine films.

She and our Haley had a lot in common, including the fact that they were both named after the same actress.
