"Crazy Baby" and Why We Provide so Many Proofs

Crazy Baby. That's what we call this.

This is my son, Elias; and since he was little (I mean even smaller than he is here), he has twisted back and forth as fast as he could when he's especially happy. That's what 'Crazy Baby' is all about.

This is one of his things that he does that makes him the goofy little boy that we love so much.

I'm posting about it to help explain why we provide such a large number of proofs to our clients.

If someone were to trim down the pictures from our session to the ones most likely to make a handsome wall portrait, these might not have made the cut. There were several shots of him in more classic poses with better smiles, looking more directly at the camera.

But these images mean more to us than those others. They mean more to us because this is him. This is Elias. This is our Crazy Baby and we don't want to forget what it's like to see him so happy.

Only my wife and I would have known to select these images and we know that only you can know your child this well.

So, we give you a ton of proofs to look at and offer to help you go through them because selecting from so many precious images is not easy. Once you find the images that reveal your family or child's personality, we can help you decide what sizes and display methods fit the images most appropriately.

We have found this to be the best way to serve our clients.

Cute and Creepy Costume Contest Winners

Congratulations to our big winners!

We had a ton of great costumes this year and these two folks were voted to be the best.

First, the winner of the best kid's costume contest is Kaylee the Scarecrow. She won by a huge landslide. She was also Cindy's top pick.

Her prize is a gift card to Build-a-Bear Workshop where she can build her very own bear or other stuffed animal.

Second, the winner of the best adult costume contest is Cavin and Friends(his real head is the one on the right).

This one obviously covers the creepy part of our Cute and Creepy contest. His costume caused double-takes all night long.

Cavin wins a Lowes gift card.

Congratulations Kaylee and Cavin! Come on by the studio to grab your prizes anytime.

Fall on the Farm Update: Rain Clouds Moving In

Looks like there could finally be rain in our future. This is great news considering we are in a terrible drought. However, it might mean that we'll have to reschedule some Fall on the Farm appointments as these sessions are 100% outdoors.
Here is our plan: We're going to leave all appointments as they are until the day of, because you never know what the weather is going to do around here. The meteorologists may say "110% chance of rain directly over Riverbend Farm" and it not rain one drop or vice versa.

We will contact you the morning of your session if it looks like rain will be an issue.
If you have any questions, give us a call (704.888.2881) or shoot me an email (matt@littlephotography.net).
