Favorite Portraits of 2007

2007 has been wonderful and we can't wait to get our hands on 2008.

We thought we'd end the year by posting a few of our favorite portraits of 2007. Drop a note and let us know if we left out any of your favorites. There were so many to choose from. We have had a blast this year and have been privileged to take portraits of many very special people.

It's been a great year.

The studio will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, January 1st and 2nd. We'll see you on the other side.

The Beatty's

This is Cindy's family. You all know and love Cindy, but you may not have met her crew.

They went out for a family session during Fall on the Farm.

Her husband, Scott.

Her girls, Brittany and Kennedy.

Brittany and Kennedy drop by the studio from time to time. Brittany is usually busy with tennis or softball at West Stanly. Kennedy usually breezes through and schools us on the Nerf basketball goal.

The Beatty's are a lot of fun. Stay tuned for a post about the studio Christmas party where they got a little crazy.

Here's a sample:

Angie Robusto

Our pal Angie Robusto sent us a Christmas card and some pictures she snapped with her camera during her son, Nicholas', session a while back.

In the shuffle of our busy season, we weren't able to make a blog post about their session, so I thought I'd take a minute to make one now.

This is Nicholas, a sweet, smiley little guy.

And these are his grandmothers from each side of his family. They came along for the fun. You can tell that Nicholas is very much loved by his family.

Some of Angie's pictures she sent us:

That's Aaron getting an elbow in the back. Violence toward Aaron is common during our sessions. Not sure why.

I don't usually participate in sessions, but Aaron asked me to assist him for this one, which basically meant holding his stuff. Somebody has to do it.

Columbus

Check out Bradley's senior collection. This one's called the Columbus.

It's a 10x20 custom designed image, framed to perfection and ready to hang.

The Milias

The fam...

The men...

The ladies...

The kids...

The supermodels!

They recently moved to Charlotte from Michigan and we're lucky to have them. And they couldn't have picked a better day for an on-location session. The weather was perfect!

This is just another example of why on-location sessions are the only way to go.

Lee Norton

Lee is from Greystone Academy.

He's calm.

He's collected.

He's a cowboy.

This is Lee before we photoshopped his pictures due to excessive ruggedness.

He's thinking about studying engineering.

He's fond of chocolate chip cookies, but prefers a smooth macanudo of 1997 vintage when afforded the opportunity.

Gracie

Gracie is a bright-eyed, happy little gal. The whole studio lit up when she came in.

See for yourself...
